Participation in and use of the Alumni Directory constitutes acceptance of and agreement with these terms of use. Terms of use as outlined below are subject to change.
The Williams College Alumni Directory (the Directory) and related online services are provided by the college to encourage communication among students, alumni, parents, and friends for personal and professional networking and college-related activities. Directory information may not be used for advocacy, commercial, political, or solicitation purposes.
Users acknowledge that they can control the information made public in the Directory and that by permitting information to remain visible, they are agreeing that they may be contacted for the purposes described above. Users are encouraged to update their contact information, submit career updates, and otherwise make use of the Directory’s services with the aim of promoting connections between alumni. Users are responsible for making sure that the information in their profiles is accurate and up to date. Williams College makes no representations and warranties about the accuracy of any information and disclaims any responsibility therefore.
Use of the Directory is provided on an individual basis and only for purposes consistent with the objectives described in this user agreement. Users are responsible for their username and confidential password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under their login.
Sharing passwords or providing unauthorized access to the Directory is strictly prohibited. You must immediately notify college staff from the Office of Alumni Engagement of any unauthorized use of your username or password or any other breach of security. Williams College will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement. Individual alumni information learned from the Directory may also not be shared with other alumni.
All information contained in the Directory is the property of Williams College and may not be reproduced in whole or in part by any person or entity without the written permission of the college. Communications among alumni are not intended for publication or retransmission in any media. Use of the Directory for mass communications, surveys, or promotional purposes is strictly prohibited.
Failure to abide by any or all terms of this user agreement may result in your access to the Directory being revoked and/or other appropriate action. Further to this, the college retains discretion to remove a user's access to, or participation in, the Directory at any time for any reason.
