Alumni Golf Tournament

The tournament is played over three days, Friday through Sunday, and consists of five 9-hole matches. The format is four-ball (better ball) match play, under the rules of the United States Golf Association. All play will be at scratch. Cart fees are $50 per person at both Taconic and Waubeeka.

Before you play, check-in at Taconic on Thursday from 12 - 5 p.m. and on Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. to receive your registration packets.

Please note that you could be teeing off as late as 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Please plan Sunday travel accordingly. 

Alumni may enter with either an alumnus/a or a non-alumnus/a guest. The combined handicaps of partners must be within 10 strokes of each other. On-line entry form must be completed by April 2024.

Assignments to flights and pairings for match play will be made available on the Monday before the tournament.  The flights and pairings will be posted at Taconic Golf Club (413) 458-3997 and e-mailed to you early in the week. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in all flights.

In an effort at fairness for the many alumni who want to participate in the tournament, a lottery selection system was instituted for the 1999 Tournament and will be used again this year. To be included in the lottery draw, your submitted application and payment must be completed or postmarked by April 21, 2024.  Applications will be randomly drawn by head pro Josh Hillman, at Taconic Golf Club. Applicants will be notified in early May of their selection or wait list status. In the case of last-minute dropouts, an invitation will be extended to the next team on the wait list until the field is full.

The entry fee covers Thursday practice round, five 9-hole rounds of golf, and cocktails and dinner Friday and Saturday nights. Carts are not included. Continental breakfasts will be provided at both Taconic and Waubeeka Clubhouses each morning of the Tournament. Entry fee for each player is $425.00 (Classes of 2015 – 2024 is $300.00 each player).  Additional dinner tickets for family or friends may be purchased for $80 for Friday and Saturday. 

DINNER TICKETS

Additional dinner tickets for guests may be purchased for the Around the World dinner on Friday or the Backyard BBQ dinner on Saturday. Please purchase all extra dinner tickets by July 10 so that we have an accurate count of guests.

SCRAMBLE TICKETS

All spouses, partners or guests who are not participating in the Tournament have the option to participate in a special 9-hole Scramble at Taconic on Friday afternoon. Please register any guests for the scramble by July 10.

ON-CAMPUS HOUSING

If you would like to stay on campus and have not yet paid for a room, please do so by July 10.
