Class Reunion Chairs are active volunteers in the year leading up to a Reunion. This role offers the opportunity to be involved with the planning of the June festivities in Williamstown and to have a direct impact on the events and activities for your class’ reunion schedule. Reunion Chairs work closely with the class leadership team and with Alumni Relations staff at the College.
Reunion Chairs commit to active involvement in the entire 9-month reunion planning process. This process begins with an on-campus Reunion Planning Weekend in September and continues through the June Reunion. In this role, you may work directly with local vendors to plan meals, entertainment, and activities for the class. You will also work directly with Alumni Relations staff to communicate plans and registration information out to classmates. In partnership with the Class Treasurer, you will oversee the overall reunion budget and set the cost of the weekend for attendees.
How to Sign Up
If you are interested in serving as a Reunion Chair, please contact your Class President or Alumni Relations at least a year prior to your next June reunion. If possible, plan to attend the Reunion Planning Weekend in the September prior to your reunion. Class Presidents will also put out a call for volunteers prior to the Planning Weekend.
