It was December of 2007. My high school class was gift wrapping at the local mall to fundraise for our senior trip to Cairns, Australia. Somehow, without Wifi and smartphones, I learned that I was accepted into Williams. I was so excited I wanted to yell out “I GOT INTO WILLIAMS COLLEGE!” But I knew no one had heard of Williams so I prefaced “I GOT INTO THE #1 LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE IN THE U.S., WILLIAMS COLLEGE!” I think I was the first person from Guam to attend Williams! I graduated in 2012 with a degree in psychology and art history & studio art.
