Williams was the place where I was able to expand my view of myself and the world. Until college I lived life through the eyes of a charismatic parent and a family constantly on the move. At Williams, thanks to the luxuries of time, education and friendship, I began to understand who I am. I learned that I did want a career in psychology, but in work with adults, not children. I learned, through the prism of feminism, the possibilities of personal empowerment. I learned, via a dive into art history, to trust my eye. Four years is a relatively short time, but those four years were magic.
