Oldest alumni in attendance were 1941 classmates Wayne Wilkins and Frank Bush.
Major Awards
Katie Kessler Chatas ’88 received the Rogerson Cup, the college’s highest award for alumni service. Leader in law and public service Judge Paul Michel ’63 won the Kellogg Award for lifetime career achievement. The Thurston Bowl, for exceptional service as class secretary, was presented to Jeff “J” DeLisle ’78, and the Copeland Award, for effectively representing Williams to prospective students, went to Jennifer Bees ’08. The Joseph’s Coat, in recognition of a highly esteemed member of a post-50th Reunion class, went to Peter Sterling ’53.

John B. Dighton ’53, Lenox MA; James L. Worrall, Jr., ’65, Wellesley, MA; Jane Garvey ’78, Cincinnati, OH; Mary E. Moule ’91, New York, NY; Elizabeth Craft Ferguson ’98, Austin, TX; Jordan Nathaniel Goldwarg ’03, Seattle, WA; and Lee S. Szykowny ’80 and David L. Pesikoff ’90, both ex officio as Alumni Fund Co-Chairs.
Class Attendance Awards
The Reunion Trophy, awarded to the class with the highest percentage of registered and present classmates, went to the Class of 1988 with 47.69% in attendance. The Reunion Bowl, for the class with the greatest number of members registered and present, went to the Class of 2008, with 247 members attending.
Philanthropy
The Class of 1963‘s 50th Reunion gift came to $13,503,458 with gifts for the Class of 1963 Scholarship, the Sustainability Development Fund (which encourages teaching sustainability across the curriculum) and the Center for Media Initiatives in the new Stetson-Sawyer Library, while setting a new Alumni Fund class record with $196,797 and 68.58 % participation this year. The Class of 1988‘s 25th Reunion gift reached $4,001,988, focusing on the Class of 1988 Scholarships. (Both the 1963 and 1988 scholarships pay special heed to first-generation college students and those from the most needy families.) For the Alumni Fund, 1988 raised $627,842 with 70.8% participation.
Alumni Fund Co-Chair Lee Szykowny ’80 announced that, overall, 1,600 volunteers had raised over $10 million from more than 15,000 alumni in 2012-2013. Alumni Fund donors also reached the gold standard again with an overall participation rate of 60%.
